He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hopkins; his children, James R. Hopkins and Marika; his son-in-law Kerry Holcombe; his grandchildren, Samantha Hopkins, Breanna Holcombe, Ryan Hopkins, Paige Holcombe and Logan Holcombe; his brother Thomas; his sister-in-law Rita Hopkins; and his niece Meg Phillips.
