James Elder Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Elder (Covington, Georgia), born in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 28, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Sandy; and his parents, Myron Elder and Mary Elder. He is survived by: his wife Jean Hines Elder; his children, Terry, Russ and Scott (Stacy); his grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Kirsten, Lane, Grace, Rose and Grant; his great grandchildren, Brooke, Brody and Bennett; and his brother Myron Elder of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be made to Sandy's Dog Park at Chimney Park, P.O. Box 726, Oxford, GA 30054.
