He was predeceased by: his parents, Reese Emanuel and Clara Mae Herron Mote. He is survived by: his wife Jimmie Mote; his children, Jack Mote of Covington, Roy Mote of Covington and Rhonda Mote of Houston; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Zach, Savannah and Corey; and his siblings, Robert Mote, Helen Robertson and Dorothy Creech.
