He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Johnston and Annie Johnston; and his siblings, Mavis Johnston, Rachel Plymel, Myrtle Henderson, Charlotte Lawson, Orell Johnston and Roy James Johnston.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Johnston; his son Randy Johnston; his grandchildren, Troy Johnston, Kristi Gilbert (Patrick), Allyssa Johnston, Ansley Johnston (Jeremy Thompson) and Jacob Johnston; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Sara, Kay, Neal and Gunner; and his siblings, Margaret Aaron, Gayle Marchman and Franklin Johnston (Dianne). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
