He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady, Sr Smith and Betty Pierce Smith. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Smith; his children, Amanda Hansard (Randy), Kim Kotkiewicz (Mark) and Scot Smith (Kim); and his granddaughter Katie Kotkiewicz. He is also survived by 3 brothers, 3 sisters.
