It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Hayes of Covington, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Hayes and Jeanne Evans; his granddaughter Angelina Snow; and his siblings, Ron Hayes and Bella Evans.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jenifer Thrasher (Marty) of Grayson and Michelle Thompson (Paul) of Covington; his grandchildren, Chace, Tyler, Luke, Faith, Sharlee, Cameron and Clay; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Delaney and Grant; his siblings, Eddie Hayes and Bobbie Oliver; and his stepfather Jerry Evans.
