He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Deborah Piper Whitsitt; his parents, Maryann Whitsitt and Barry Whitsitt of Covington; his daughters, Paige Oftedal (Morten) of Covington and Megan Whitsitt of Atlanta; his granddaughters, Lily and Emma Oftedal; and his brothers, Clark Whitsitt of Covington, Todd Whitsitt (Sonja) of Colorado, Derek Whitsitt (Stacy) of Oxford and Brook Whitsitt of Madison. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
