He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Williams and Louise Williams; and his siblings, Walter, James, Melvin, Charles, Gloria and Shirley.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Williams; his stepson Anthony Backmon; his grandsons, Keishawn, Javon and Xaion; and his sisters, Barbara Simpson, Judy Gibson (Charles) and Lorraine Williams (Robert). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
