He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jr. and Corrie Pierce, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Traci Pierce; his daughter Kristen Smith; his son-in-law Tyler Smith; his grandson Easton Smith; his parents-in-law, Sue Gray and Skip Gray; his sister-in-law Tammy Henderson; and his uncles, Vermelle Bailey, Ralph Bailey, Lorene Pierce, Gene Pierce and Peggy Chandler. He is also survived by nephew, Cash Henderson; aunts.
