The world bids farewell to Douglas Elliott Bolton of Covington, Georgia, departing on December 24, 2024 at the age of 75. Douglas leaves behind memories cherished by the community. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Douglas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Elliott and Frances Phoebe Bolton. He is survived by: his wife Sherri Bolton; his children, Staci Bolton Williams (Greg) and Brad Bolton (Mei Gee); his grandsons, Cooper, Alex and Brock Williams; and his sisters, Sheryle Bolton (Steve) and Jeanne Alpers (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (1169 Clark St SW, Covington, GA 30014).

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to First Presbyterian Church Covington-Food Pantry, 1169 Clark Street SW, Covington, GA 30014.
