With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald R. Byrd of Covington, Georgia, who passed away on February 5, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Byrd and Dorothy Byrd; and his brother David Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Joan Stokes Byrd; his son Mark; his daughter-in-law LeAnn Byrd of Oxford; his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law Lyls Renoit of Blue Ash, Ohio; his grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Andrew, Tyler, Braelyn, Cody, Trey, Isabella and Katie; his great grandchildren, Hagen and Oaklynn Allen; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Byrd of Covington and Fred (Janie Stokes). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many close friends.
