She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend James Virgil Barnard; her parents, Paul William Hayes and Mattie Clyde Chamblee Hayes; and her brother Junior Hayes. She is survived by: her children, Rebekah (Gene Massey), Rachel Barnard, Ruth (Jeff Balliew) and Samuel Barnard; her grandchildren, Benjamin Balliew, Amanda, Scott McCurry, Paul and Nikki Massey; her great grandchildren, Luke, Skylar of Maverick, SJ and Jacqueline; and her sister Darlene Williams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
