He is survived by: his parents, Jesse Lyons and Shirley Shaw; his wife Janice Cooper; his stepchildren, Christopher White of Greensboro, NC, Lewis White of Greensboro, NC, Sherman White of Greensboro, NC, Cassandra White of High Point, NC and Paris Williams of Covington, GA; and his sister Carolyn Cooper of Conetoe, NC. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
