He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Groome and Eleanor Whitenack Groome. He is survived by: his wife Georgie Groome; his sons, Chris Groome (Laura Tapling) of Dawsonville, Patrick Groome (Christine Quackenbush) of Sugar Hill and Scott Groome (Consuella) of Loganville; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Jacob and Drew. He is also survived by numerous other family members and close friends.
