She was predeceased by: her parents, Ester Petty and Willie Mae Green; her daughter Ella Mae Macon; her grandmother Mariah Jones; her siblings, James Petty, John Ester Petty, Charlotte Cason, Nettie O'Neal, Sadie Penny and Delores Petty; and her great grandchild Nicholas Miles.
She is survived by: her children, William Ester Anthony of Flossmoor, IL and Diane Hairston-Nash (William) of Conyers, GA; her siblings, Annie Petty and William Petty (Annette); her grandchildren, Christopher Anthony (Cynthia), Sabrina Anthony, William Anthony Jr., Arlexus Hairston, Andreus Hester, Sharon Lane (Reginald), Gregory Macon and Tamika Hairston-Miles (Nelson); her sibling Adored; and her nieces and nephews, Bessie Armistead, Antoinette Eatmon (Jamie), Dessie Moss, Leo O'Neal, Leon O'Neal, Curtis Petty, Donald Petty (Phyllis), Marcus Petty (Tabitha), Phaedra Petty, Sedrick Petty (Judith), Queen Pickens (John) and Helen White (Charlie).
