It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Walker of Covington, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Walker (Wells) and Tommy Walker; his siblings, Tommy Walker, Doak Walker and Virginia McNeil; and his nephew John Walker, MD.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Walker of Covington; his children, Scott (Jane Walker), Paulette Walker of Newnan and Michael (Ashley Walker); his grandchildren, Abby, Zach Harbin, Ryan Walker, Connor Walker, Wyatt Walker, Grey Walker and Wren Walker; his great grandchild Bennett Harbin; and his siblings, Lloyd, Shirley Walker of East Point, William, Betty Walker of Canton, Wayne Walker of Fairburn, Paula Walker of Atlanta and Jackie Walker of Colorado.
