Charles Edward Kimsey, Sr., age 81 of Covington, died Sunday, February 13, 2022. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Ilene Kimsey, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Kimsey; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Susan Kimsey, Mike and Ashley Andrews, Mark Andrews; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and David Rhodes; brother and sister-in-law, Warren and Pam Kimsey; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was retired from the State of Georgia after serving as the Assistant Deputy Insurance Commissioner. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 2:00PM at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with Cody McNutt officiating; interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
