She is survived by: her husband Deacon James Ross; her children, Sanchez Williams (Rachel), Sandi Smith (Kierre) and Chavisse Ross, Sr.; her grandchildren, Chavisse Ross Jr., Lauryn Ross and Caleb Jackson; her siblings, Betty Johnson, James Johnson (Sandra) and Denise Strickland (Allen); her siblings-in-law, Robert Grant, Cecil Ross, Harvey Briggs (Patricia) and Hazel Hilman; and her close friends, Doris Mae, Rachel Dennis and Deborah Zachary. She is also survived by three aunts, two uncles, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins.
