He is survived by: his wife Georgianna Caraway Toole; his children, English Benning (Clay) of Atlanta and Barckley Toole (Mary Beth) of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Mary Anglin Toole, Wallace Toole, Elizabeth Toole, Gillian Benning, Rebecca Toole and Daphne Benning; and his siblings, Dr. Arthur Toole of Birmingham and Kate Kirby of Jacksonville.
