It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Adkins of Covington, Georgia, born in Warrenton, Georgia, who passed away on March 17, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherron Lee and Elizabeth Cato Adkins; his wife Ruth Adkins; and his siblings, Billy Adkins and Alice Story.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Adkins (Kenneth Smith) of Covington and William Murphy of Covington; his granddaughter Renee Smith of Tifton; his siblings, Gene Adkins, Mike Adkins and Lib Beasley; and his pets, Abbey, Spunky and Buddy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
The family has asked that donations be made to The Old Frontier, PO Box 1714 Thomson, GA 30824 in memory of Mr. Leon Adkins.
