It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Ruth Sherwood Weldon (Covington, Georgia), born in Miami, Florida, who passed away on May 12, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Clyde Weldon, Sr.; and her parents, Henry Louis Sherwood and Corrine Bearden Sherwood of Henry County. She is survived by: her sister Virginia Brown; her children, Donna Lewis (late Mike) and William Clyde Weldon, Jr. (Cheryl); and her grandchildren, Jason Lewis (Chandra), Mark Lewis (Jennifer), Jessica Cox (Ed), Will Weldon (Becky), Elizabeth Weldon and Stephanie Kochy (Jeff). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in the form of donations in Ruth's memory to Alzheimer's Association (branch of your choice).
