He is survived by: his daughter Becky; his grandparents, William Belton and Mellie Lea Butler Jones; his spouse Nancy Claire Vickers Jones; his children, Rebecca Claire Jones of Tifton, Richard Alvin Jones (Tonya) and James Tripper Jones (Amanda); his siblings, Mary Kathryn Whiteside (Clarence) and Jeffrey Barton Jones (Bonnie); his sister-in-law Alice Jones of Deerfield; his grandchildren, Benjamin Hardy, Mary Claire Hardy, Stella Jones, Kenneth Jones, Alan Jones and Grace Jones; his great grandchild Henry Waldrop of Tifton; and also, Deerfield Beach, Jacksonville, Madison and Melbourne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
