James Eugene Akridge Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Eugene Akridge (Cotton, Georgia), who passed away on October 11, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Charlie Wilburn Akridge; his sons, Tony Akridge and James E. Akridge, Jr.; and his siblings, Jona L. Akridge and Patsy M. Jones.
He is survived by: his parent Odean Taylor Akridge; his children, Kimberly Woodruff (Wade) of Hartselle, AL, Rhonda Steel of Hartselle, AL, Zac Akridge of Atlanta and Shane Cato of Atlanta; and his siblings, Dianne Monk of Cairo and DeLeon Akridge (Sammie) of Cotton. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
