With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Sewell (Cornelia, Georgia), born in Turnerville, Georgia, who passed away on January 5, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Virgil Moore; her daughter Brenda Sewell Jones; and her siblings, Louise Ivester, Fannie Moore, Inez McGahee, Nancy Tillotson, Valaree Ivester, Ila Ivester, Willard Moore and Claude Moore.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Greene (Steve); her grandchildren, Billy Miller (Connie), Mark Miller (Doug), Ryan Garcia (Rob), Jessica Scardina (Todd) and Candice Bracken (David); her brothers, Randy Moore (Betty) and Charlie Moore (Jewel); and her sister-in-law Gwen Galloway (Larry). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
