She was predeceased by: her parents, Elfred Carson and Mildred York Carson; her husband David Nix; and her son-in-law Randy Pierce. She is survived by: her son Jeffrey David; her daughter-in-law Misty Nix of Clarkesville; her daughters, Leigh Nix of Clarkesville and Melissa Renae Pierce of Cornelia; and her brother Douglas McDonald of Cornelia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
