He was predeceased by: his father Elvin Roberts; his wife Barbara Turner Roberts; and his son James Edward Roberts. He is survived by: his children, Janet Kinsey (Scott Jenkins), Roy "Rob" Roberts, Jr. (Jackie Roberts) and Ron (Carole Roberts); his sister Emily Farley; and his grandchildren, Roy Earl Roberts, III, Haley, Jennifer Burton, Michael, Katie Howard, Jared, Mark Roberts, Shauna, Mason Kinsey and Garrett Kinsey. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
