She was predeceased by: her parents, Cranford Powell and Zola Cantrell Powell; her husband Ernest L. Tench, Jr.; her daughter Barbara Ann Tench; her grandsons, Adam Beiser and Andon Brown; and her brothers, Cranford W. Powell and Robert Powell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pat Larrimore, Linda Taylor of Rome, Nancy Beiser of Loganville and Shirley Joiner of Gainesville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three nephews, one niece, and few cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
