She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie B. Smith and Nellie Belle Mote Smith; her husband Winford Holbrooks; her son Aleck Sim Holbrooks; and her siblings, Gladys Phillips, Ellene Holbrooks and J. E. Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Holbrooks (Wanda) of Cornelia and Frances Burns (Larry) of Cornelia; and her daughter-in-law Teresa Holbrooks of Hollywood. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
