He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Broughton Ariail and Pearl Stephens Ariail; his wife Ruthalene "Ruth" Denton Ariail; and his sisters, Nancy Gayle Humphries and Sandra Kay Ariail.
He is survived by: his sons, Edward D. Ariail (Alice) of Clarkesville and Lloyd Samuel Ariail (Dulcie) of Clarkesville; his granddaughters, Catherine M. Ariail of Clarkesville, Caroline M. Ariail of Raleigh, Melissa Pearl Ariail of Clarkesville and Emily Jo Page (Ethan) of Cornelia; and his brother-in-law Charles D. Humphries of LaGrange. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
