It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard Burrell of Cornelia, Georgia, born in Clarkesville, Georgia, who passed away on October 31, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Glenn and Effie Trotter Burrell; his wife Mary Helen James Burrell; his daughter Nancy Lynn Burrell Green; and his siblings, Wayne Burrell, G. B. Burrell, Hoyt Burrell, Dewey Burrell, Carria Esterline, Kathleen Campbell, Irene Rousey, Moleen Gaston and Melinda Burrell Lassiter.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Burrell, Wendell (Deb Burrell), Jane (Joe Gulley) and Judy (Max Chosewood); his son-in-law Phillip Green of Demorest; his grandchildren, Stacy Peterson, Dr. Casey Chosewood, Chad Chosewood, Rodney Long, Leah MacNellis, Wendy Tedder, Chad Tench, Brent Tench, Tammy Coley, Jaime Wilbanks, Chris Green and Josh Green; his sister Eloise Burrell Smith of Gulf Breeze, Florida; and his sister-in-law Isabelle Burrell of Baltimore, Maryland. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
