He is survived by: his parent Shirley Occhino Guertin Thomas of Ironton; his daughter Kayli Guertin-Smith of Cleveland; his son-in-law James Lewis of Cleveland; his son Kenan Stewart Guertin of Suches; his grandchildren, Ashlyn Rose Smith of Cleveland, Anden Kade Smith of Cleveland and Anniston Malachi Smith of Cleveland; his child Melissa Kim Guertin of Alto; his stepmother Patricia Guertin of Hardy; and also, Andrea Elizabeth Carr of Suches, John R. Guertin, Jr. (Mary) of Ferrum, Brian Guertin (Kathleen) of Vienna, Mark Guertin (Rebecca) of Ironton, Michael Guertin (Kim) of Roanoke, Denise Bates (David) of Arcadia, Debra Gordon (Joel) of Desloge and Diane Sweeney of Arcadia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
