It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Jean Garner Pitts of Cornelia, Georgia, who passed away on November 10, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Garner and Lessie Dalton Garner; her husband Philip R. Pitts; and her siblings, Vernon, Ezra Garner, Allene Garner Stovall and Louella Garner Barrett.
She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara Garner Palmer and Jerry Garner; and also Mary Lou Hosch. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as great-great nieces and nephews.
