He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Broner of Cornelia; his children, Joshua Broner of Cornelia, Evan Appling of Illinois and Stormie Abernathy of North Carolina; his siblings, Michael Broner of Clayton, Dorothy Edmond (Paul) of Gainesville, Frankie Mattox of Gainesville, Theresa Brown of Gainesville, Brenda Perry (Derrick) of Cornelia and Patricia "Pat" Brown (Melvin) of Utah; his siblings-in-law, Quiddie Cobb Broner of Cornelia and Johnny Summerour of Gainesville; and his close friend Nathan "Pokey" Berry (Sharon) of Cornelia.
