He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Eugene and Margie Kimsey Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Hurt Lawson of Cornelia; his daughters, Mandy (Stacy Gunn), Stephanie (Daron LaBruyere) and Ashley (Dylan James); his grandchildren, Eden, Arlo LaBruyere of South Carolina and Wren James of Cornelia; his sister Debbe; his brother-in-law John Mize of Cumming; his brother Greg; and his sister-in-law Pam Lawson of South Carolina.
