As Jeffrey departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jeffrey may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jeffrey leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Shirley and Eloise Cochran Shirley. He is survived by: his close friend David Williams of Cornelia; his brother J. Michael; his sister-in-law Donna Dill Shirley of Cornelia; and his nieces, Marisa Whittington (Stan) and Rachelle Woodruff (Ricky) of Habersham County. He is also survived by two great-nieces and three great-nephews; and a large number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
