James Simmons Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Simmons of Cornelia, Georgia, born in Alto, Georgia, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vasco Simmons and Ora Mae Wade Simmons; his wife Brenda Elaine Pardue Simmons; his grandchildren, Casey James Simmons, Kevin Scott Simmons and Kayla Elaine Simmons; and his brother William Odis Simmons.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Wade Simmons of Alto, Ginger Elaine Swilley (Paul) of Cornelia and Joy Simmons White (Jeff) of Alto; his grandchildren, Haley Caroline Irvin (Ethan) and Grason Scott White (Emily); his great grandchildren, John Riggins Irvin, James Everett Irvin and Benjamin Lee White; and his brothers, Harold Wayne Simmons of Oakwood and Danny Lee Simmons of Alto. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
