He was predeceased by: his parents, James Patrick Gallagher and Florence Bigley Gallagher; his wife Dianne Briggs Gallagher; and his nephew Kevin Gallagher. He is survived by: his children, James Richard "Jim" Gallagher, Jr. (Jill) of Clarkesville and Maria Marrero (Tom) of Johns Creek; his grandchildren, Ashley Feuvrel (Mike), Anna Burroughs, Abby Burroughs, Audrey Marrero, Justin Gallagher, John Luke Gallagher, Jennings Gallagher and Benjamin Gallagher; his great grandchildren, Mason Jones, Cooper Jones, William Feuvrel, Lilliana Feuvrel, Mariana Feuvrel, Nicholas Feuvrel and Christian Feuvrel; his great great grandchild Natalie Feuvrel; his brother Joseph Charles "Jay" Gallagher (Eileen) of Warrington, Pennsylvania; his nephews, Brendan and Sean; his niece Shannon; and his great-niece Clara.
