He was predeceased by: his parent Cort Hooper; and his siblings, Dorothy Hooper Moore, Otee Hooper Marsengill, Vida Mae Hooper and Hubert Hooper.
He is survived by: his wife Jerry H. Hooper; his son Eric Hoyt Hooper; his daughter-in-law Cindy L. Hooper; his granddaughter Emma L. Hooper; and his siblings-in-law, Vivian Davis (Jack), Janie Bingham (Eddie) and Vernon L. Henry. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
