He is survived by: his wife Lulabel Nation Powers of Cornelia; his sons, Cranford Powers of Lincolnton, NC and Hollis Noah Powers of Ranlo, NC; and his siblings, Jack Powers of Cornelia, Pat Black of Mt. Holly, NC and Evelyn Dickerson of Green Cove, FL. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
