Herman Nations Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herman Nations (Cornelia, Georgia), born in Clarkesville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 17, 2024 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest William Nations, Sr. and Mary Edna Williams Nations; his siblings, Ernest Nations, Jr., Carlos Nations and Jo Ann Nations Moore; and his siblings-in-law, J. W. Rice, Dewayne Forlines, Bobby Moore and Jean Allen Nations.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Garmon Nations of Hollywood; his children, Thomas Joe "Joey" (Barbara Stewart Nations), Tony "Jason" (Rachel Pittman Nations) and Mary "Tonya" Nations; his son-in-law Thala "Ty" Phongsavanh of Cumming; his grandchildren, Hannah Danielle, Samuel Mark, Isaac Thomas, Chase Kham, Asher Mikhail, Jayden Phillip, Zachary Thala, Merrick Christian and Leah Kate; his sisters, Oveline Nations Rice, Evelyn Nations Forlines and Barbara Nations Mote; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Mote and Lois Mote Nations.
