She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Dean and Bessie Ballew Dean; and her siblings, Ray Dean, Grace McCallister, Mae Ellison and Lessie Wade.
She is survived by: her daughter Ginger; her son-in-law James LaCount of Mt. Airy; her granddaughter Melissa (Chris Pittman) of Commerce; her great grandchildren, Jason, Eveson, Brett and Solomon LaCount; her brother David Dean of Illinois; and her close friend Willard Irvin of Cornelia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
