He was predeceased by: his parents, George Benson Freeman and Laura Anderson Freeman; his siblings, Hubert Lee Freeman, Hobert Edward Freeman, Gordon Freeman, Howard Freeman, Dock Freeman, Maude Nicholson and Bea Moody; his son-in-law Bobby Smith; and his grandson Colton Levi Hicks.
He is survived by: his aunts and uncles, Dennis Anderson, Zeke Anderson, Bernice Caudell and Ruth Southard; his wife Marcella Addis Freeman; his daughters, Frances Smith of Clarkesville, Georgia Ann Hussey (David) of Flowery Branch, Linda Almond (Danny) of Cornelia, Sharon Woods (Steve) of Clarkesville and Lisa Hicks (Dennis) of Toccoa; his grandchildren, Brent Smith, Adrienne Dominicali (Josh), Seth Woods (Cindy), Austin Swartz, Brooke Welborn (Chris Squires) and Hannah Hicks; and his great grandchildren, Fonsi Woods, Scarlette Woods, Celia Woods, Kaleb Smith, Hunter Squires and Hudson Squires. He is also survived by husband to his wife, a wonderful father to his daughters.
