With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Effie Carolyn York Grantham (Cornelia, Georgia), who passed away on September 11, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Ray of Cornelia and Azalee Sanders York of Cornelia; her siblings, Deral York, Barbara Parisi and Thelma Morris; and her son-in-law Robert Tribble.
She is survived by: her husband William Lawrence Grantham; her grandchildren, Michael, Haley, Peyton, Preston and Elizabeth; her nieces and nephews, Linda Azar, Sumitra Azar and Robert Jackson; her siblings, Glenda Cook (Lamar), Cheryl Smith (Larry), John York and Garrett York; and also, Steven Grantham (Tina), David Grantham, Dan Grantham (Deborah) and Lori Tribble.
