She was predeceased by: her parents, Weldon Earnest "Doc" and Betty Autry Colston. She is survived by: her son Matthew Young Scroggs of Cornelia, GA; her siblings, Joye Colston Dodd (Ricky), David Colston (Sandy) of Cornelia, GA and Randy Colston of Cornelia, GA; her grandchildren, Cara Scroggs of Mya Scroggs, T. J, Wright and Ada Jaymes Plum; and her great grandchild Iris Scroggs. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
A reception was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531).
