She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Herman Chitwood and Wrighton MaudeLee Garner Chitwood; her husband Charles L. Garrett; and her siblings, Marion Chitwood, Aaron Chitwood and Janet Nations.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Garrett of Cornelia and Autumn Garrett Morris of Cornelia; her grandchildren, Tori Garrett Martinez, Reyna Garrett Marsengill, Breezi Morris, Jesse Garrett and Jonah Garrett; her great grandchild Azayah Martinez; and her siblings, Danny Chitwood (Janice) of Clarkesville and Quincy Lynn Blackburn of Athens. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
