He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank G. Barden and Annie Turpin Barden; his son Mike Barden; and his siblings, James, Lee Barden, Claudine Tomlin, Louise Morgan, Mary Ann Caudell and Lena McGahee.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Porter Barden of Cornelia; his daughter Patsy; his son-in-law Robert Bell of Cornelia; his son Frank; his daughters-in-law, Tammy Barden of Cornelia and Janice Barden of Cornelia; his grandchildren, Jenna Barden, Drew Barden, Brett Barden, Patrick Bell, Peyton Bell, Jackson Bell, T. J. Barden and Brooks Barden; and his siblings, Dan Barden of Orville, Ohio and Doris Goldman of Jackson Mississippi. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
