It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Shirley-Chambers (Cornelia, Georgia), born in Habersham, Georgia, who passed away on December 24, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manson Winstead and Annie Mae Patton Winstead; her husband David Lloyd Shirley, Sr.; and her former husband Ernest Chambers. She is survived by: her children, Debra Shirley of Blairsville, David Shirley (Teri) of Mount Airy and Donna Addis (Brian) of Lakemont; her grandchildren, Luke Hopper, Jodie Lovell (Tonya), Courtney Speed (Dalewin), Leanna Shirley Oberley (David), Jana Byrd (Shannon), Chase Kelly, Matthew Addis (Salem) and Bryson Addis; and her siblings, Margaret Winstead, Shirley Gabrels and David Winstead (Nancy) of Clayton. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
