It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Joyce Virginia Autry Colston of Cornelia, Georgia, born in Cleveland, Georgia, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loy Daniel Autry and Carrie Lee Nix Autry; her husband Weldon Earnest Colston; her siblings, Loy Daniel, Jr. (Sue), Virgil Autry, Ray Neal Autry (Juanita), Benny Autry, Farrel Autry and Margaret; and her siblings-in-law, Ernest Harkins and Dianne Autry.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Weldon Colston of Cornelia, David Mark Colston (Sandy) of Cornelia, Joye Colston Dodd (Ricky) and Diane Colston Shaw of Cornelia; her brother Crandall Autry of Gainesville; her sister-in-law Diane Turner; her grandchildren, Matthew Scroggs, Ashley Dodd Freeman (Thomas) and Brooke Alexis Stanley (Nathan); and her great grandchildren, Cara, Mya Scroggs, T. J. Wright, Ada Jaymes, Owen Freeman and Colston Stanley. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
