She was predeceased by: her parents, John Buffo and Amy Dupire Buffo; her son Brian Keith Schaefer; and her siblings, Katherine Williams, Gloria Keitsch, Frances Skipworth, Joe Buffo and Johnny Buffo.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Schaefer; her children, Linda Rechtoris (Guy) and Mark Schaefer (Kathy); her sister Mary Trihas; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Morrow, Christopher Rechtoris, Coty Hogue, Steven Schaefer, Breanne Hogue and Sarah Schaefer. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
