He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clanton Hyatt and Myra Pauline Knight Hyatt. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Paczkowski of Indiana, Deidre Ware of Pitts, Jaclyn DeCoff of Thomaston, Tammy McVeigh (Jeffrey) of Seville and Josh Hyatt (Tiffany) of Cordele; his sister Judy Denton (Mickey) of Edgewater, FL; and his grandchildren, Jack Ware, Brittney Ware, Ethan Ware, Savannah Reid, Terri Lyn Reid, Bradley Reid, Alley McVeigh, Emily McVeigh, Trey McVeigh, Michael Hyatt and Matthew Hyatt.
